WA Nclex results?

Published

Does anyone know how long it takes for WA to post your license after NCLEX? I called, and they have everything they need except NCLEX, which I took today.

Merci beaucoup!

This is purely from posts I've read on AN, but I've seen everything from 4 hours after the test (recently; following the PV website change) to just over 48 hours. A few people said they didn't need to use the quick results option. I'm in WA also and taking it in a few months... Just trying to get a feel for the process myself. Best of luck to you!!

Well, it isn't 4 hours for me. LOL. 48 hours is reasonable. I'll just keep checking.

If you wouldn't mind sharing the turnaround time you experience, I would sure appreciate it! We are just starting our state application/paperwork and our class hopes to sit for the NCLEX in November or December.

WA is da bomb!!! My RN license posted 7 hours after. I'm on the east coast, though, so my test was done 6:45 AM Washington time which is probably why I got same-day results.

Congratulations!! That is totally freakin awesome!!! I'm sure the time difference did contribute, but it sure is nice to know that they have a timely system in place!! Thanks for sharing and much success in your career!! ????????

congrats!!! im just starting this journey!

Thanks! I'm so proud to finally be an RN. It was a long journey but I've finally made it.

Congrats NewYorkerGirl! Now it's time for us to find a job! When are you moving to Washington?

Hey Wilyummy,

Thanks! I can't move to WA until I have a job. I'm stuck living with relatives while I'm unemployed. I have a job interview in North Carolina next month, so WA better hurry up before I'm taken. I've applied for two residencies at U of Washington, multiple jobs at Franciscan, two residencies at Swedish, and one job at Virginia Mason. I've kept my eye on multicare, but they haven't had any new grad jobs recently. Evergreen doesn't have a residency open at this time (I wrote to them). I missed the deadline for Overlake's residency because I didn't have a license in August, and I missed Harrison's deadline of June. I looked at Bellingham, but they only seem to have residencies in ED/ perioperative, and critical care, which doesn't interest me. I want med-surg, peds, or women.

Have I missed any opportunities? Next I'm applying in Legacy, down in Vancouver WA.

NewYorkerGirl - Did you try Children's in Seattle? I live here in WA, about 40 minutes south of Seattle. I work for MultiCare. What about working for an agency? We use agency RN's all the time at our hospital.

Did you look at Providence?
