Volunteer Opportunities

Does anyone know of any good volunteer opportunities here in Central Ohio for LPN'S? Im open to experience anything if it is interesting and will help me gain more experience to further my career and make me more marketable to employers. I am however trying to stay away from the hospitals at this time due to the fact that I am not in school taking classes toward my RN at this time. I have also emailed the LPNAO and I am wating to hear from them as well.

I used to volunteer at a local nursing home to visit with an elderly person. I used to do her hair, nails , take her to the facility parties and decorate her room/door for holidays.

I would think most facilities have that program.
