Volunteer opportunities for nurses

Do any of you know of a free clinic or somewhere in the ST Louis area that I can volunteer as a nurse? I made a promise to myself during one of the darkest times in nursing school that if I managed to finish, I was going to do something for people less fortunate than myself. If any of you have any ideas, let me know!

It's time for me to fulfill my promise. :)

There is the Grace Health Clinic centers in the city- one on Jefferson. Also, La Clinica, which focuses on the hispanic population http://www.laclinica-stl.org/. There is also the People's Health Centers, who has multiple locations, but there is one down on Delmar.

Good luck. I would love to hear if you find a place you like. I hope to volunteer when I graduate as well.
