Voluntary surrender..cant find work

I voluntarily surrendered in az after investigation accusation of deversion as a traveler. Im unrestricted no stips but still cant find work. Should i just give up and seek life elsewhere

That is not true, necessarily. I voluntarily did a temporary surrender in CO but not before I got my license in WA state. I am in the monitoring program and working as an RN. I am not on the OIG list.

Jas10. What is a temporary surrender? I am facing discipline in CA but live in AZ. I want to surrender in CA and go through ATD in AZ and have found info about OIG. Not to worried about that because they have ways to appeal it. I am worried about being placed on the states Medicaid exclusion list. Because it says if I’m on CA state exclusion list I’m excluded everywhere else in the United States.

I did a temporary surrender that allows me to reinstate in 2 years if I want to (I most likely never will). I originally got into trouble in CO and was given 2 years of monitoring but chose not to stay in CO and moved to WA. CO wouldn’t let me monitor remotely so hence the need to relinquish my license there but WA allowed me to attain my license and enter their monitoring program to fulfill my “sentencing” that CO gave me. I was very lucky and never was put in OIG list.

I wonder why you were never put on the OIG list or your states Medicaid exclusion list. I need to find out more about that. I’m trying to do what you had done but just in different states.

AZRN...feel free to DM me if you want to talk further. The key of advice I can give is to get a lawyer. I got a very good lawyer in CO that did wonders for me and knew all the ins and outs of the states BON and how it all worked.

I was told that since I was on my Iowa list when I surrendered because I was a travel nurse at the time I'd have to move to a and find somewhere willing to hire me so I could do thier CANDO program. Long story short I've given up quit nursing all together
