hi all,
i need help with visascreen issues, has anyone ever had issues with there dob with cgfns, i just checked my status and it says
date of birth is not consistent with the dob provided by the applicant. -license: united states of america- new mexico board of nursing ******
license validation form
your license has been received and rejected for the following reasons: date of birth is not consistent with the dob provided by the applicant.
i don't have a clue what they are talking about, as they have a copy of my passport so does nmbon also my nclex result has the right dob. the only other thing i can think of is whoever is reviewing my documents if mixing up the date formats. has anyone ever been in a similar situation.
thanks

hi jeff..
i can totally relate with you in this.. back in 2006 when i was processing my nclex in ca i also came across the same problem but it didnt arrive to the point that i was denied by a licensing authority.
my problem that time was it was almost 6 months and ca bon haven't still sent my eligibility, so i called their customer service rep and asked about my application status. he asked for my name then my birthdate, when i stated it to him, he asked again because he has a different dob of mine in his record (possibly it was an encoding error on their part). i also checked the photocopy of the application i sent to ca bon, and i clearly wrote it on the form with my correct birthdate.
so i asked to talked to their supervisor and the call rep forwarded me to her and we discussed it and she helped me correct my record on their database.
here's my suggestions:
1. call the nm bon and clarify your dob with them, inform them about what cgfns has stated in your account. ask also for your nm bon file number, so that it would be easy to access your file when you call them again.
2. once you have stated your case with nm bon, it is best that the clarification and correction will be institution to institution. continue to followup with nm bon for their correspondence with cgfns.
3. for cgfns: check your online account if you have entered the correct information about yourself. you might also did the encoding error.
4. you can also call cgfns and ask what can you do to correct the problem. what kind of identification support documents they would like to see? (such as passport, driver's license or other forms of id)
hope this helps.:heartbeat

I feel like screaming today Sorry vented out.
I was so happy to get my birth certificate in mail yesterday from my home country only to find out , they put a WRONG date
What can I do now? Do I need to go through the whole process of remaking a new birth certificate again, which might take 2-3 months ? Do I have any other options, as I am very limited time wise. I cannot manage to waste even a single day. Someone please help.
The birth year, month, name and everyhing else is correct. The only thing incorrect is the birth date. The official who made my birth certificate has added 2 more days What were they thinking??? :'(
Thank you.

The issue is that when the BON submitted the data to CGFNS, the birthday that they had listed does not match what you had submitted.
The employees at the BON are more than aware of how the dates are listed across the ocean.
Please start with the BON and find out what they submitted to CGFNS, that is where you are going to need to start. CGFNS is unable to do a thing unless corrected by the BON if that is where the mistake or error is.
Things like this can happen, but it is something easy to fix.

You are going to need to have a correct birth certificate. Without that, then nothing is going to get done. All documents must have the same birthday on them or they will get rejected. The US government will reject as well.
If they are making a correction, then it should not take as long.

But if they are just sending a copy of the recorded birth to you, how are them making a mistake? What was actually recorded by your government as your date of birth?
They recorded it wrong while making the certificate. It doesnot match with any other official documents. Thank you for the suggestion Suzanne.
And also please, remove the dates from my and ur quoted post, if that's possible please :). Sorry for the trouble and thankyou so much.
Thank you SilverDragon for editing. God bless you. I really appreciat it.
I have got a faxed copy of the correct B. certificate now. Will CGFNS process my application with that version, until the orignial one arrives? Or will they wait until they have my original one with all the paperwork? Thank you so much agian for all your valuable informations. Every suggestion is very helpful. God bless you & God speed.

That is only for the special re-take of test 3 and 5 for those june 2006 passers that wants to get a VSC.
If your friends took the regular exams and has an average passing grade then they passed. No problems with getting visa screen certification.
