Is anyone in here applying for the upcoming VCU CRNA application cycle for January 2025 start?

Wow! That's great you got a reply! I never get them to email/call back.  I think it just means the stuff we answered in the portal. I did all that already and paid.

Yes I emailed them back just to verify I've done everything on my end.

Waiting on my application to be "verified" because I still have two rec letters that need to be uploaded. I've reached out today and they should get those letters in over the next couple days. I'm assuming that's why I haven't gotten the email from VCU yet for the supplemental app? Should I be concerned that things won't get verified by the March 15 deadline? How long did it take yall to get verified after submitting everything? Thanks!

It's actually very fast. One of my transcripts said it needed to be updated because when I had to submit my transcripts , I answered something incorrectly, then changed that answer and ever since it said updated transcript required. I asked  NursingCas about that and was told to disregard. I also was told I could submit the application even though 2 of my references were not received yet. I  emailed them after several days asking why was my application not verified yet and they said it was the references, I texted them and they got it done the same day. Couple of days later, still not verified, I asked again and they said it was the transcript. They re scanned the transcript they had that same day. That was Friday. Got my verification email  Monday at 1:15am , got the email from VCU an hour later.

Hi, same thing happened to me. My references were holding me up and once they were in it got verified the next day!

Has anyone taken any extra classes? I'm currently taking chemistry because I didn't have/need it for my nursing program. But has anyone else taken extra classes, if so, which ones?

My undergrad pre reqs are over 10 years old so I took gen chem 1/2 and also took advanced patho

Per the info session, interview invites are in May with interviews taking place in June. They will be virtual. Decision letters by August 1st.

I was in class during the zoom call and couldn't hear everything, is it  pre recorded questions or an actual interview just through video?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they said they are moving away from the pre-recorded format and will have virtual interviews only.
