Villanova BSN Express May 2017

U.S.A. Pennsylvania

Hello!

I am planning on applying to Villanova's BSN Express program that begins in May 2017.

Is there anyone else out there who is also applying to this program or who has applied and/or attended this program in the past? I would love to get some insite about the program from any current/former students.

I would also like to hear from anyone who has worked with Villanova students. Do they seem to be well-prepared for the demands of the nursing profession?

Thanks!! 😊

A little late to the game but I'm glad I found this page! I was also accepted and I have committed to the BSN Express program in May as well. I'm looking forward to meeting you all! Anyone else coming from out of state?

Hi guys!

I was also accepted to the 2017 absn program. I still have to take my chemistry pre-requisite and was wondering whether you all took Organic Chemistry I or a different course to cover the organic component?

Congratulations!

Kristin Barkdoll suggested that I register for CHEM 108 at Geneva College. It's online and self paced.

I was registered for CHE 122 at Montgomery County Community College, but RateMyProfessor listed my prof with a terrible score, so I wasn't looking forward to Organic Chem at all. When I emailed to make sure that CHE 122 would fulfill the requirement, Kristin suggested CHEM 108 at Geneva College (via Portage Learning). It's the same price as taking the class in person, plus it's self-paced and completely online with no textbooks or extra costs, so I dropped my Montco class and am taking it through Geneva. Fingers crossed...

Great! I'm taking CHEM 108 at Geneva College too. I'm doing well. Dr. Hartman is very responsive to emails and grading. Good luck with the course.

Have many colleagues that came from here; great place

Hello-

I was wondering if anyone got accepted to the program without an interview. Also- I was wondering for people who got accepted to the program- what was your GPA?

Hey Dedancer454, I ended up not going to Villanova but I did get accepted for the program that started in May this year. I think my GPA was around a 3.6 when I applied. I did have an interview, I'm not aware of anyone who was accepted without an interview.

Hi everyone,

I know this thread is from 2016, but I am interested in applying to Nova's ABSN program and would like to get some feedback about your experiences while in the program and post-grad if possible. I have been accepted to a few ABSN programs that are slated to start this fall; however, I've been doing some research and starting to fall in love with Nova. Part of me is saying to start this year and get it over with. The other half of me really wants to take the year off in hopes of applying and being accepted for next year's cohort in 2021. Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated
