Victory College of Nursing - Fort Lauderdale LPN to RN

Hey everyone. Has anyone attended or graduated from this program? They have LPN to RN, RN to BSN program and both are approved and licensed by the state of Florida.

It was pretty recent, and only one had graduated and passed boards. I asked if I could read a testimonial from her graduates, but she wasn't able to provide that. Also, if you don't live in Florida, I would be hesitant about getting my degree there. Two of my friends did it and ended up having to work in Florida as RNs for 6 months before they could get their compact license to work in their home state.

OK. I found out there is no review as well about the school anywhere. On facebook, she seem to be congratulating a lot of her students for passing NCLEX and it got me confused. The successful students have no full name, no link or anything that can make one get to them and ask them about their experience. For your friends, I guess they wrote the Florida board instead of writing it in their state of residence that's why they were made to spend such time. You will need to work in State licensed for you to get the compact license.

Yeah, they don't provide a lot of evidence to gain trust. I'm currently finishing my BSN and spending a fraction of the cost of what I would've had to pay to Victory. It is going to take slightly longer, but the school I'm attending is local, it's accredited, has a good reputation & a very high pass rate, and I can talk to graduates and current students from the program. I would caution you to continue to do your research as you are. I also recall her telling me that the credits would not transfer to other universities because there are no articulation agreements in place. So of you desire to continue your education and get your masters or doctorate, that will be important to you. I wish you the very best of luck in your nursing journey. Nice chatting with you.

I also was accepted and decided to go local to an accredited school. Here's a link and a photo to  show you why Ester doesn't provide much info you can go on the board of nursing website to find out there pass rates and how many students have taken the NCLEX. It has a little delay but not nuch. Like this year's first quarter is not posted yet. I hope this helps. This first link is the actual document showing the list of schools. The second link is the actual website the NCLEX pass rates for RN and LPN are at.thw bottom of the page.

Yikes... These students are paying a lot of money. Sadly, they're also probably borrowing through the company who has agreed to do private student loans for Victory. Overall, I see nothing to indicate that they have the students' best interests at heart.

I was able to find only one person that attended and she gave horrible review about the school. She said she left with 12 other students because they were so disorganized

The companies were formed over a seven year period with the most recent being incorporated three years ago in June of 2019. Two of the companies are still active while the remaining two are now listed as inactive

Went to Victory, Graduated from Victory. Passed NCLEX in on first attempt.

myself and a friend did the program together.  we both passed the NCLEX on first attempt. you need help and support, this program is challenging, especially if you are from out of state. Im from California. there's extra credits involved to make sure they meet all states standards, IE, California is very picky. 

unorganized, yes. so am I.

limited clinicals. yes. (didn't bother me, I have been an LVN in ca. for 10years.)

I remember the cohort when they all left. they were behind me. I don't know what happened but this program is challenging and stressful.  You cant expect to just Google your way through just because it is online. any and everybody thinks they can be a nurse nowadays, and when times get tough they quit.

do I recommend this program. yes and no....
