Hi! Did anyone here tried to apply in this hospital? What are their requirements? And how are their hiring process? Thanks!

is it ok if my board rating is 79? and if I have no experience yet. I went there sometime in June and they gave me a list of the requirements. the HR was very accommodating:D

They're always accepting requirements from RNs. Just place them inside a long brown envelope. The person I talked to said they will just call for the exam date. However, she asked if I was referred by an employee, a doctor, etc. I answered NO. Up to now, no feedback from them. I think they prioritize applicants who are referred by people who are also working at VRPMC.

I'll have my IV training here next month. I never had any idea that they are also requiring its applicants to have 80+ board rating. After my IV training, I will work on landing a staff nurse position here.

i just resigned from this institution and it was a great experience working with them for more than 3 years.to all who are applying, just give it a try. once you get hired you wont regret. not really a prestigious hospital when it comes to their buildings and infrastructure but there medical and nursing services are excellent. has very accommodating staff, lenient superiors, a very good ground for training and improving your nursing skills especially 8th floor, the most toxic area yet intellectually and personality stimulating.Good Luck![/Qim scheduled for my exam on thursday..... guys... help me..... those who took the exam..... type of question???? topics frequently asked? please please please.......

VRPMC used to be called Polymedic Hospital when I was a nursing student. We did most of our RLE there particularly Peds, Med-Surg, and OR. It wasn't such a big hospital but the patient cases are interesting enough for learning as a student. Do they have their own nursing school now?
