Hello everyone, I thought I would start a forum for this since I'm planning on applying myself to the VC nursing program for the Fall 2016 semester. Anyone else applying out there?

Yay! So happy for you. The waiting is killer! Still waiting on our letters. But we have to wait another week or two. Wish you luck in the program!

Lol! I know I was just thinking about this over the weekend. Though I heard they make the selection by next week? Also I heard that for me because I don't have a # on the list that it may take till July* if I don't get selected for this semester. You may be further up the list so you may get into this semester?

July? That's crazy. Doesn't make sense. I don't have a number either since they wouldn't give me one remember? Lol. I just know I applied in Jan.

Yeah we applied the same application period. There are others that are already on the list which is 11* so that makes us further down to 12 -15 I Hope LOL. Well just keep praying and know that since we are on the list our spot is guaranteed and really just depends when!? :nailbiting:

True true. The problem is the other school starts next month already for 5 weeks but then will skip until Jan :/ so I didn't want to quit my job until a couple of months from now to finish paying off debt. Oh well!

Oh yea don't quit your job yet. For some reason I feel like for me it may take longer than January to get into VS20* especially if they don't have that yearly budget they receive to get more LVN's into the program. In meantime I would apply to more schools. Right know I'm waiting to Santa Barbara :(

Well when I called they said the wait wouldn't be 1.5 to 2 years so there is hope. What other schools did you apply to?

They said about a semester -1 year for me. So in other words if not this fall then Spring and if not spring next August Fall 2017* I don't know if I could wait that long. Well I'm applying to Moorepark in August as well as College of the canyons in Santa Clarita.
