Hey Hurleysnow33 I did end up getting in that semester after getting the blue paper. I attended one week of the transitional course and dropped because I got into a closer college.

Hey Cathereen. I called them this morning and they said letters went out Thursday and Friday of last week but I am still a couple more down so I didn't get in :/ I will be going to Antelope Valley College instead but at least it's just one more year instead of a year and a half.

I was thinking of doing that if I didn't get in because I wouldn't continue until Jan anyway since only 10 will start in August after this transition class and that wouldn't be me since I was #27. But I don't know if that would mean I would need to apply all over as a transfer student.

Antelope Valley College.. the transition course for LVN's and transfer students starts June 14th. Well I hope we hear before then. If not, I'm stuck going there..it's over an hour away

Still nothing...I just called and they said they are behind because they are short handed and letters will go out until some time in June because they are working on the people that accepted?? I'm confused on exactly who they are waiting for. The other school starts on June 14th lol so I'll probably have to end up going there if I don't hear from them by that time.

Yeah just keep applying, something will pan out!

True true. The problem is the other school starts next month already for 5 weeks but then will skip until Jan :/ so I didn't want to quit my job until a couple of months from now to finish paying off debt. Oh well!

July? That's crazy. Doesn't make sense. I don't have a number either since they wouldn't give me one remember? Lol. I just know I applied in Jan.

Hi thecommuter, that makes sense. I ordered a care plan book that the school uses to start getting familiar with them. I am just not sure how to start getting practice on them. Hopefully the book will have examples and practice.
