HEY GUYS! IM STARTING VEEB IN September I HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS.IS THE PROGRAM VERY INTENSE AND WHERE DO THEY DO CLINICALS?
@Tonitoni91 no prob and yea hopefully being online has been a blessing in disguise because it’s just so much more convenient when you have a child. It sucked in that we didn’t really get to bond with each other that much although I did make some good friends through the clinical rotations would have loved the school environment to get to know everyone better. We’re finishing up we’re going to be done with the school portion on August 13th but we won’t graduate until September 24 because of most of the class not getting the minimum 150 clinical hours to sit for the NCLEX. All of our paperwork has to be sent at the same time so I have to wait until my fellow classmates Get all of their hours. Covid really messed us up in terms of clinical rotations since a lot of facilities weren’t letting us in and then sorry to say VEEB is disorganized. So I’ll basically be studying for the NCLEX in the meantime until graduation. Make sure you stay on top of things with this school because they are very non transparent. It’s like pulling teeth with them. Cross all your T’s and dot and all your I’s with this school. Also make sure you keep track of all your clinical hours (date time etc)!!!!! Also keep track of your grades even though it shows up on moodle I still had my own journal with all my grades and clinical hours. You all will do just fine!
@Tonitoni91 no problem and no we didn’t but we had to get tested for covid whenever we went to certain facilities mostly at cold Spring which is one of the facilities we went to for geriatric rotations and also you get tested when you go to brookside which is one of the pediatric locations. But if you did receive the vaccine you didn’t need to get tested each time you went to cold Spring not sure what the protocol was at brookside. For NUMC you didn’t need to get tested they just checked your temp.
