VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

I was terrfied my first week in clinicals but believe me when I tell you, it will come naturally. Some people make it to clinicals and realize nursing is not for them. As time goes by, you will overcome your fears. The instructors are the best! Most of them are stern, but great!

So how strict are they @ clinical about the shoes. I have a few all white sneakers, would they let those slide? I'm looking at some of the nursing shoes online and some of them look like plain sneakers.

Veeb doesn't want you to wear sneakers or clogs. You HAVE to get nursing shoes. Go to a nursing store and get Nursemate or 24 hours comfort shoes.

I think I'm going up there tomorrow. I have to thank the pharm and fundamental instructors. They were ALL over my exam. I was the first person to test from this graduating class. I hope all my classmates pass on their first try like I did. Class of 2009, hang in there!

Very vague... well I'm the only Asian person in A, so you'll know who I am, if you talk to the classes and such.

Yes, it was me. She is funny right? She was always the instructor to make me laugh and smile. I had to see her.
