I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
I didn't complete the fafsa yet but I almost have all my reference letters. I'm psycho I started buying binders and ****. Def a little crazy but I just called the boces and they said they are sending out results already so good luck everyone and please post if anyone gets theirs!!!!

I'm currently in school so it was just adding VEEB's school code. But let me ask you, you said u called Boces? Did u mean VEEB started sending out their results?
Yeah. Veeb said that they started sending out results and depending on what test u took u should get it this week or next week. I took the test march 22 so she said I should get it this week or next. So if u had one of the first tests u will get them soon. Good luck!!!!!!
Well what my plan is that I'm going to go there then move on to rn. I think the process is faster that way. But the reason I'm doing that is because my grades weren't great and I don't have a good enough gpa toget into an rn program yet. Farmingdale and Nassau want a 3.0 so right now this works for me and if I study my ass off I'll raise my grades and hopefully get into the rn at farmingdale.

Hm thinking about not even going to VEEB anymore. So much money just for an LPN, and they are being phased out. Associate degree nurses aren't even wanted that much. Bachelor degree nurses are what they want. Just a thought. Almost 14,000 for a certificate? Thinking about it.. I don't feel it is all worth it.
So true. Don't waste the money, go for RN. No hospitals use LPNs nowadays, you will have to work in nursing homes only.
