Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
You apply for financial before starting the program and that will be your last time applying. But it covers all three semesters. It is based on your income and financial need. The program totals roughly around 14,000. Financial aid usually covers half and students take loans for the other half. Mr *****in the business office is really good about giving you all the forms you need for the loans and such. The cost of the medical and uniform is included in your tuition.
I have the test on the 22 also and I'm so nervous!!!!!! I am studying from an lpn entrance exam books and it's alot with fractions and decimals and I'm reading a lot of posts saying the test is mostly fractions and decimals and percentage so that's good. I'm so nervous tho!!!!!! Hope we all pass and do the program together!!!!!
Are you sure those are both included? What isn't included? You apply for financial before starting the program and that will be your last time applying. But it covers all three semesters. Sorry Siverdragon, didn't realize I typed a name:(
Let me clarify a few things:
you pay a $2000 deposit upon being accepted to hold your seat
you pay $10 for your photo ID on orientation day
That's what I paid, I had FA and Loans. I didn't get full financial aid but quite a substancial amount. MY second and third semesters I had to pay about $200 bucks approximately. What I mentioned in my last post is included. They give you a breakdown of the tuition. The medical exam is done at the school. And any immunization you need or if you need a TB will be done at that time as well. The uniform is provided along wiht a watch, stehoscope, light and tote bag.
Hey guys, I'm taking my test next week Thursday & I wanted to know if there's any specific things I should study for the test .. I see people are saying decimals, fractions & percentages but should I study multiplying, adding or subtracting ? I really want to pass this test & any info would help. Thanks ?
