VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

Im a current student....and take it from me this school sucks!!!! The staffing are so unprofessional... Good luck but if I were you I would look into another school. youre wasting your moneyand your time!!!!

I THINK I understand you better now. I've heard things have changed a little since I graduated in 2008. Don't quit. I take that back. Hang in there because you're already in it and try to do your best. Get out and pass your Nclex.

Im sorry its real suspect that you joined yesterday just to get on here and talk about how much you hate the program. When throughout this thread all you read is positive feedback but there is always a sprinkle of hate here and there. Thanks for the comment but Im gonna go ahead and take opinions of the program from people im sure who really attend the school :D

Goalseeker....there's no need for me to lie. You obviously are not a student as of yet from what I see....so don't ASSUME you know everything. As far as me joining yesterday....yes that is true only because I only found out about this website yesterday. As far as what people say about VEEB is true.....it is a very good school as far as what they teach but their instructors are GHETTO!!!! You will see what I am talking about!!!!!! Thats why i said its a waste of money for going to school when all you deal with is nonsense!!!!! Why don't you get back to me when you are there for a couple of months......LOL......thats all ive got to say!!!!!

Everyone is going to have different experiences in any school, but your bad experience is not going to stop me from pursuing my dream. I know things can be rough but focus on your school and your dream..

I never assumed I knew everything. My issue was that you came on here bashing the school you didnt say one positive thing until now. However your views are your views. I Guess I will just have to see for myself when I do start in september. That is all.

Im sorry I thought I answered you back but he said he would be back Monday the 25th. ....I know time is flying by I was telling myself I need to slow down a bit and enjoy this time before school starts because during school there will be no more fun...unless you count studying as fun lol

Absolutely... we can make study group fun .... ! ...... we have all summer to have fun and go on vacation cause when sept comes its time to buckle down and be serious
