Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
I just pick up my application for the entrance exam for next wednesday.I believe thats the last testing datemy question is whats the exam like? am really great with reading but Math and i are just not friends. So please anyone whats on the math exam.
Hi Paul11238,
The hardest part of the exam is pacing yourself because you are trying to beat the clock...so review with a GED book and time yourself. If you go though this thread you will find a lot of helpful information. I believe someone even put an example of the math.. I wish you the best of luck:up:
I have a quick question am really trying to study for the math and my question isdo i need to study metric conversions, algebra and geometry
From what I can remember it was fractions, decimals basic addition, subtraction and intergers...know the rules for intergers and you should be good to go. no metric conversions, I do believe there was algebra and no geometry
This blog is very informative i wish i had come accross it earlier.... but everything happens for a reason....i just recently took the pre entrance exam for veeb on April 13th....i was confident about my reading comprehension and the vocab but not sooo confident about the math.....i knew about the test 3 days before hand and tried to study until my eyes were sore! so that my math was up to par for the test.....unfortunately im not feeling to confident about the test and my entrance into the program....im a lil disapointted in myself because i have always wanted to be a nurse for as long as i could remember..i cant see myself doing anything else... my heart and soul would be completely in it...this is not just a venture to make more money for me... it so much more than that...having complete and total compassion for people and helping others is something i love and need to do .... i became a lil hopeful when i saw they had the brigde program then atleast maybe there would be a lil hope....but i see their not offering it anymore so i quickly became discouraged again.....idk i gues i just needed to vent a bit lol....im hoping for a mmiracle to happen and god answer to this one prayer....and if it doesnt happen i guess its in not my will to happen right now.....*sigh* well to all my accepted students congrats!!!!! send a small prayer for me that by some chance i make it in!!!! and ill be praying for you guys that you all succeed in this program and become compassionate professionals in this nursing field!!!!!! best of luck to you alll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:nurse:
God bless

So there goes my theory out the window it does not matter when you tested...it seems Glady17 was correct I tested February 22 first testing date and still waiting on my acceptance letter..I am usually a patient person but this is agonizing...I attempted to go there twice this week so far to inquire about my letter but everyone is telling me to be patient its coming...I figured some of you would understand...okay thats my 10 seconds of ranting and raving back to stalking my new mailwoman..
