I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
yeah thats what she [proctor] said that she is going to keep testing until she fills "her seats" and she did mention the bridge program and i'm not sure but i think it was last year because she asked how many ppl where from the bridge course. she really stressed that she was going to be testing for a couple of months
yeah ...yesterday they said nothing about bridge program she said " if you fail you might want to refresh yourself then come back" so with that said i guess there's no bridge ...
well i took the exam february 23 and it seemed so easy, if i passed i wouldn't be so surprised i think that this is just a "money" school and in my own opinion they cut people off when they reached there quota!

so true ... ii felt the exam was a breeze as welll .... but .... this lady was telling me she was only a few hours late last yr with money and they didn't let her in the program .... she said there so strict .... smh

I am sure they are strict because waiting in the sidelines is a group of other students trying to get in. That school is in demand...ladies we have to push each other when we get accepted to get our money in ASAP...*crossing fingers*

Yess Im so saving right now and i never save for anything but this is my career so its WORTH IT!!!
AGREE ..... do you plan to do the loans if get it ?
yes I am getting a loan unfortuantely I don't qualify for any grants from the state so the loan and my savings and the help of God is what i'm depending on!!
