VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

I called Veeb today and i asked the lady if another batch of acceptance letters will be sent out soon she told me no and that i shud be patient.i really do not understand whats happenning because this wait is making me go crazy,somebody pls help me

I know EXACTLY how you feel....this is truly rediculous......so if there are no more acceptance letters being sent out that seems to me like we are not going to be accepted. Wow....this is completely rediculous....well thats why I have been looking into other schools and I defintely think now I'm going to go ahead and try to go to another school. I'm going to start taking my pre-reqs this summer.

Just received VEEB acceptance letter! I'm undecided....I'm four classes away from being able to apply to PA school, attending VEEB will delay me another year, but having LPN on my resume would be nice when applying to PA school......

Well time to weigh the Pro's & Con's, and according to VEEB I have until Wednesday June 2nd which is when my deposit is due.....

@ Glady....Before I took my finals, I was told to be patient when I called. So call Veeb again on June 3rd. If the lady asks your name and then reads your address back to you....take it as on on hint of good news to come.

I just called VEEB myself, and I was not asked to give my name. I was told to be "patient"......like I don't know what that means....give me a break. She said letters have been sent out.....I hope that means acceptance letters. But anyway I have been looking into other schools.....and I think I will try to pursue something in another direction if this doesn't work out for me. I will let everyone know, weather good or bad what my outcome is.

Try calling Monday morning. It seems as though they are more polite n willing to do the "extra" work of looking ur name up in the mornings. I guess they aren't as annoyed n nasty in the mornings as they can be when calling at a later time due to possible high call volumes through out the day... :-\

Waiting for this acceptance letter is very discouraging. Week after week I wait and still nothing..I took the test March 23, and did more than great on it. April 2nd, i recieved a letter saying that i passed and to hand in my 2 reference letters..I handed my reference letters in April 7. Since then I've been impatiently waiting. Im thinkin bout calling tomorow because im really anxious to see what happens next.

I know exactly how you feel. I am in the same boat. I took my test on March 17th and I'm still waiting. As I can see it's a first come first basis and they are handing out accepatance letters according to their test dates. Another person (More Cowbell) on this blog who tested on March 4th just received their acceptance letter yesterday, so it kind of gives us an idea how closer they are getting to our test dates. Called up VEEB this morning and I gave the lady my name and she said nothing has been mailed out to me yet.....ugh!!!!!! I truly believe I won't be accepted.
