I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
I am so confused.i called Veeb this afternoon and i was told that nothing has been sent out to me yet.i was asked to be patient and that if i am accepted or not,a letter will definitely be sent to me
I know exactly how you feel, I was told the same thing....I'm curious, when did you test? because when i told them when I tested they said I tested late....so maybe this has somthing to do with it?
Im not home now, but I called n my sister said my ACCEPTANCE LETTER came today!!! WHOO HOO!!!!!!!! Thank GOD for JESUS. I have to work tonight but can't wait to get home to see my acceptance letter with my own 2 eyes!!! Good luck everyone. :)
Congrats to everyone who has received their acceptance letters. If you haven't been accepted to VEEB please don't let that discourage you, try for another program..... don't give up.
GLady17 dont get upset i know this girl that just recently finished VEEB and they actually called her in late july early august and told her to come in with the deposit and she spent her money bc she "tested late" and had to borrow from a bunch of ppl i tested feb 16/17 i cant remember exactly the date but dont give up bc everyone doesnt pass the bridge program but if u wanna start lookin i heard laguardia college and theres another school in suffolk i dont know the name off hand but dont stress urself everything will fall im place.

Well thanks missme123 for trying to cheer me up but I'm very upset. I dont understand why VEEB continues to let people test if they know they have their 200 people already. They are sooooo MONEY HUNGRY!!!!!. I also dont understand why they asked for me to send in my references either. I feel like I have been totally misled, and also there is someone who tested the same day I did and they are given a chance to go to the bridge program before I am given a chance. I think its rediculous they give someone who failed a chance over someone who passed......once again VEEB IS MONEY HUNGRY!!!!! This really sucks!!!! and I'm ******.

They are probably waiting until the bridge program ends to see how many have passed n how many slots r still open. Even if u have to wait until the bridge program concludes, I think u should have priority over a person who took their exam the same day or later than and was in the bridge, simply off that fact that u passed!
