I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
miss glady dont say that read the whole forum lol smh like i did and not everyone gets the acceptance letter the same day many people have gotten it other days so if u passed and gave in your references your good just be patient lord knows i have been. cant wait to meet you guys you all sound so nice lol.
thank you so much for the congrats dont worry everyone will be gettin theres soon.so yea well the letter stated that i need to get a background check within seven days online and its $35 this is somethin new. and then i need to bring the cash buy the 20th next thurs.sheshhhhhh im freakin out.
Wow. Now they want background checks. I can just imagine what else they are going to ask for between now and September. Dont freak out, the 20th is two weeks away. You should have plenty of time but dont wait till the last minute to get your deposit in.
hello veeb heads i have been reading this thread for the past yr. i took my entrance exam feb 23 for the first time and passed i got a 12.7 in reading and 12.9 in math. i handed in the reference letters the 7 and guess what yayyyyyyyyyyyyy i got my acceptance letter today. omg im so happy.

Hi GLady 17 it sounds like your giving up on Veeb. When everyone was getting their scores in March some got it on Wednesday others got theirs on Thursday so have faith everyone has said as long as you got your references in your good. :hug:

Thanks gabby10 and lilynursegoal and to everyone else for your encouragement. I havn't given up on VEEB, it's just I dont want to get my hopes up for a disappointment in case it doesnt work out for me, that's all. I probably will get it in the mail hopefully, but right now I am happy for everyone else who has gotten in. Thank you guys, I hope I get to meet you all in the future.....you all seem like such nice people.:)
