VEEB LPN Program (info request)

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

IF ANYONE GETS ANYTHING TODAY PLEASE POST ASAP.:crying2:

WELL, I called VEEB today and was told something TOTALLY different then what I was told on Monday! Ugggggggh......why can't we get a straight answer? Anyway, I asked if reference letters were sent out for those who took their exams early March (March 2nd) and was told that they haven't sent out any acceptance letters and r still receiving references?! HUH? [Dumbfounded] OK. I don't know what to think anymore, I just pray I get in! I pray we all get in.

I'm also kinda worried being that they do reserve seats for those attending the bridge program and the fact that I took my exam kinda late in the game. Anyway, guess I'll receive it when I receive it......until then, GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ON THIS FORUM...ESPECIALLY THOSE TAKING THE BRIDGE! I HOPE WE ALL MAKE IT. YOU GUYS FEEL LIKE MY CLASSMATES ALREADY! Haha

Side note: If anyone receives an acceptance letter this week, make sure to keep us posted. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE. :-)

April 21st is orientation....and I called Veeb on Monday and was told last batch of results were being mailed out by Tuesday. So i'm sure you will get urs by Thursday/Friday the latest. Hope to see you there.

Hey guys! I was offered the bridge program. I got a 9.2 on the math and 10.8 on the english. I'm soooo ****** right now!!! The bridge program is 500 bucks and where am I supposed to get this money from, plus the 2000 for registration?!?! VEEB loves money i see!!

Hello Nad88

Believe I know. Who I am most ****** off with is myself...I shoulda studied the math portion more...yeaper 500 bucks....OMG i didn't even think about the 2000...for some reason I guess I thought they would deduct the 500 from the registration fee...but now that u mention it, i'm sure u are right....WOW, WOW, WOW.

veeb sure is a cash cow. but from what i've heard the program certainly is worth it. so i guess i will have to cut back my budget even deeper. oh brother

Gabby i know, i know.....are you going to the orientation on the 21st? Don't be discouraged....

Is orientation that everyone is referring to only for people who are attending the bridge program? or is it for people who are being accepted?
