I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
Congrats to all that made it and good luck to those still waiting for your results! I was in your shoes this time last year and now about to finish up my 2nd semister at Veeb. I failed my entrance exam, but did however get to be chosen to be in their bridge program. So don't get discouraged if you did fail..Veeb just may contacting you for the bridge. Veeb is alot of work, but I managed to keep my grades good and still be a Mother..My life is still hectic and I eat, sleep and drink VEEB until August! Which I'm sure Praise can identify with me, cant come quick enough lol
Congrats to everyone that passed their test. I got great news too and I PASSED my test as well................Yay!!!!! I'm so excited. Hopefully we will be future classmates. Best of luck to everyone still waiting for their test results.
glady17-congrats on passing! i knew you would. where do you live? you took your test the day after me which makes me worry about whether or not i passed, since you already got your results.
miaizon-thanks for the words of encouragement regarding the bridge program. when i took the test i asked if they are having a bridge program this year and they said that they had not decided that yet. do you know what criteria they use when choosing candidates for the program?
Congrats to everyone who has passed. Now the time starts ticking. Get your references in ASAP!!! It's first come, first served. Also start getting your deposit money together. I would suggest even if you have not received your grades from the test as yet, to start getting your references and money together... so when you do get your grades you will be ready to go. VEEB is a good program and what you put into it you get back from it as well. Good Luck to everyone.

i live in nassau, so i dont know if that has anything to do with it, but if i were you i would call veeb monday to see whats going on. best of luck to you and thank you!.
.....Took the test Feb 16th....I live in Nassau County so it's not like they had to mail it far!! sigh...I dunno guys...I'm nervous!!
