Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
OMG!!!!!!! I JUST GOT MY RESULTS IN THE MAIL. I PASSSED!!!!!! I WAS SO NOT EXPECTING THEM FOR ANOTHER 2-3 WEEKS (took my exam March 2nd). Got a 11.9 in math &13.8 in reading. Next step, 2 reference letters by April 7th. Good luck to everyone that's waiting on their results. :-)
Wow....that's so GREAT.......CONGRATULATIONS!!!!. I hope I get my results soon. Took my test on the 17th of March....so i guess I have to wait a little while longer. Enjoy your moment....you must feel great. Hope I get good news too. Cross your fingers for me!!!!!
Congratulations for passing your test. Very happy for you guys. I was just curious do you know how they come up with that score. For example, 12. 5 or 9.5. It's not a standard test result like 80% or 90%. Thanks for your help!
They grade the test according to grade level. Passing is: 9th grade math (9.0) and 11th grade reading (11.0).
Thanks to u Glady17 & Gabby10. I'm so excited/nervous. Good luck ladies, I'm sure ur results are on their way! Hope we're future classmates!!!
Ok guys, I have a little problem. I already have one reference letter from my old english high school teacher. I asked him a month prior for it and he gave it to me that week. I also asked my boss to type one up for me but she won't do it since I'm on "formal documentation" for my cash differences within the year that I started up until now. I work in a bank as a teller. So nooow.. I'm stuck. Cus I really want a reference letter from my job so they know how hard I work NOW, not back when I was in high school. I really don't know what to doo, and I want to get these letters in asap! Good lord, help meeee!!
Is it bad if I get a reference letter from a relative of mines? They're all professionals. I'm so desperate. And do they really call up your references just to verify that it's legit, or no?

I really dont think relatives are an issue, however, I would try to use one w/o the same last name.
My 2nd reference letter is coming from my aunt who is a NP, she just doesnt use her maiden name.
