VEEB LPN Program (info request)

Published

Hi All,

I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.

What are the Teachers like?

What are the required books?

Is the program as intense as they say?

Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?

Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?

Do they provide job Placement at the end???

Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!

hahaha :) i was wearin' a turtle neck and high-heeled boots!:clown:

so do you think you did good?

Hi i took the entrance exam for veeb it was pretty easy common sense type of test. However i recently found out i am pregnant if i get into veeb i will start in September but my due date is October. Does anyone know of anyone that is pregnant and is in veeb? will I be able to miss a week or a few days I plan on giving birth and going right to school I know it sounds nuts but i really have no other choice. I cant afford to wait another year to become a nurse. :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Honestly, I think your baby's health should come first. It's difficult to go back to school just when you give birth cus you'll be out of energy and you're gna be waay behind. These type of schools move fast, and they don't stop for no one. Missing 3 days of class is equivalent to missing 3 months. Your best bet is to call up VEEB and talk to one of their counselors and see what they suggest. But I hope everything works out well for you.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:crying2::crying2::crying2:

alovely9 DO IT!!!!. I started Veeb in Sept. 2007 and 2 girls in my had babies in Oct. and were right back in school 2 days later. Ms I, the counselor, will work with you. Don't let this hold you back. Another women had her baby in March and MANY were pregnant by the time we graduated. BEST OF LUCK!
