Hi All,
I'll be starting at VEEB in the Fall and was wondering if there are any current or past VEEB students that can give some info on this program.
What are the Teachers like?
What are the required books?
Is the program as intense as they say?
Do they have articulation agreements with other nursing (RN) programs? If so, with who?
Are there any disadvantages in taking the LPN course outside of a Community College setting?
Do they provide job Placement at the end???
Any information that ANYONE can provide will be GREATLY appreciated! I really want to have a full understanding of what I'm in for. I have 2 year old Twins and I am a little worried about whether or not I'll be able to juggle school/studying and Family!
for all of u who are scared, dont be! its 9th grade math; fractions, adding and substracting, percentages, etc; and the reading? a Joke! if you passed 11th grade, you'll get over a 9 (which is passing). its short essay you read, and answer questions directly from the passage. My advice, practice your fractions!!!
I dont know about anyone else but I have been out of high school for some time. Unfortunately, I dont use fractions in my every day adult life, I know I need to brush up on fractions AND algebra. How many questions are in the math section?

I don't remember how many questions on the math. It's a timed test so let's say they give you 25 minutes to do 40 questions. (something along those lines). Go to the library and get a GED preparation book. It will help you trust me. Also focus on integers..... fractions... and the likes. The math is basic no algebra or anything like that.
Thank you! I've been lurking this thread for awhile now and I've been taking notes.Deep down, I'm nervous about not passing this test because people on here have failed so that gives me a chance that I might fail too but I'm studying nonstop! I'm downpacked with everything, I'm just scared that the time limit is whats going to kick me in the butt. :uhoh21:
For reading, read the questions and skim the story for the answers. If u read the whole paragraph time might be against you. Remember read the paragraph and skim for the answers.
hey everyone, i'm new to this site. i found it so helpful in my nursing school search! how many spots are open in the nursing program in veeb? is it 200? and is it true that it is on first come, first serve basis? i'm kind of nervous because my test date it on feb. 24th.
i dont know about open spots, but i do know its a first come first serve basis, and the testing fee is $200, (crazy right), my test date is this monday on the 8th, wish me luck....
So what are the requirements to get into this program and how much is the tuition
You just need your high school deiploma or GED, a NYS ID, and thats it to get the application, then to take the test it cost $200, which u must bring in with you as a money order on the day of the test, the test is based on HS reading and math, and once you past the entrance exam, they let you know what to do next, but all the information is stated once you go and pick up an application but youmust bring your ID and HS diploma to get a test package.....I take my test on this monday...Its a First come first serve basis

Hello,
What part of the test did you feel you did not do well on? How long did it take to get your test results? How many questions in the math section?
