VCU ABSN Summer 2022

Hi everyone!

I applied to the VCU ABSN Program for Summer 2022 and was wondering if anyone else had applied as well! I'm in the middle of taking the necessary prerequisites and an admissions counselor said the essay and letters of rec matter the most. I wasn't sure if anyone else heard anything about the application process and getting accepted! I know its considered a competitive program but I don't know what the acceptance rate is. I'd love to connect if anyone else is going through this process!

Good luck to you both! November can't come soon enough. Have either of you heard anything on what they look for in candidates or what the acceptance rate for the program is?

Good luck to everyone! I was waitlisted. Does anyone know the acceptance rate off of the waitlist?

Hi Everyone - just found out I was accepted! I've seen in previous threads people are always accepted off the waitlist. We have to put down a deposit for our seat by December 1st so I'm sure the list will move around then! Best of luck to everyone

I also applied for Summer 2022 and I was waitlisted. I've been trying to find acceptance rates from the waitlist but haven't found anything. There is a thread from last year's applicants and a few people who responded that they got waitlisted gave updates that they were accepted eventually. So there's that sense of hope at least! Good luck to you all!

Has anyone been able to locate a facebook page for VCU ABSN Summer 2022 cohort?

I'm hoping to connect to future nursing students regarding housing--- I'm coming from the West Coast and would love to connect with folks and potentially become roommates!
