  1. Although I did consider it, I didn't do anything differently between applications. Once I finished my pre reqs last May and realized I wasn't being accepted I stayed with my job in mental health. I couldn't justify leaving to work 4-5 months in a new position before the next application was due. Sorry I wasn't of more help.
  2. So I can't give a concrete answer, but from my experience, people were pulled off the waitlist at a much higher rate about 1-1.5 months before classes started last year. It seemed to be about 8-10 (that's a very rough estimate). I applied for the VCU ABSN 2022 cohort and was waitlisted, but unfortunately never got pulled off. I had 4 pre reqs in progress at the time, but did notice some students say they were accepted and still had to complete some of their classes! I did reapply and got accepted into the 2023 ABSN cohort. I wish you all the best of luck!
  3. I also applied for Summer 2022 and I was waitlisted. I've been trying to find acceptance rates from the waitlist but haven't found anything. There is a thread from last year's applicants and a few people who responded that they got waitlisted gave updates that they were accepted eventually. So there's that sense of hope at least! Good luck to you all! This is the thread I mentioned: https://allnurses.com/vcu-ABSN-Summer-t728047/
