Hey guys!!
I am applying into VCU ABSN's Program for Summer 2019! I am excited and very hopeful to start this application journey. My GPA is not the best. I was a biology major prior to deciding that a nursing is right for me! I am currently a scribe (1 yr experience) and am applying to work as a CNA at a local hospital.
I have already taken stat, physiology+lab, and medical micro+ lab; Finished with B's. I take Anatomy and life psych..
Although I have started my app, I am on the fence on waiting to apply next cycle or to continue with this application because of my GPA and not having anatomy complete.
I would LOVE to hear from other applicants for advice and support!
I am in the current VCU ABSN program. I graduate this Dec and it has been the best ride of my life so far! I was once on this site when applying, nervous as hell and looking for any and every info on what to expect. Forward me your questions and I will be glad to help alleviate your anxiety. I am also an open book and real, so feel free to ask ANY thing at all on your mind!
Hi everyone,
I am currently a senior at VCU and I will be applying to the ABSN program in January of 2020.. I know that it is a very competitive program, I applied before and there a technical problem submitting the supplemental survey so I was denied under an "incomplete application" Even though I did submit it and paid the fee but other students had already taken the spot. How was the ABSN program, pro's and con's? BTW Congrats on graduating this december!
