  1. Hello! I found your post via search. I am currently in the same situation as you. Male ICU RN, 37, slapped with a stip on sept, 2023 (for giving 2mg morphine to my pt without NP order) and been searching for work since then. Been living out of my car, broke and depressed but still fighting hard. I live in Dallas, TX. My stipulation is simply to work for 64 hrs/month for 1 yr. No other restrictions or supervisions whatsoever, yet, it has been nearly impossible to find work. I got lucky last year to find a job via a private connection in Austin at a Hospice facility. I worked for 3 mnths but had to leave due to toxic work environment - to protect my already hit license. This has destroyed me financially. I have been looking for work in home care, psych, hospice etc in Dallas and Houston area but no luck yet. I am trying to find/attend job fares now to speak directly with managers. I am exploring all my options. Please do not despair. I sent you a PM. Please, anybody, please, share ideas and info that can get us out of this rot. God bless you
  2. I realize this is such an old post but any information helps, anything at all. I am a very good nurse and been searching for work for a long time now since the stipulation. Thank you so much. I will apply to UHS right away!
  3. Hi Hello @ back to work. I am currently in the same situation as you were. I have a stip on my TX license with no restrictions other than to work for 1 yr without issues and no supervision, yet I haven't been able to find a job since Sept 2023. Please help me. Where did you find work? I am currently living in Dallas TX. Thank you.
  4. I am in the current VCU ABSN program. I graduate this Dec and it has been the best ride of my life so far! I was once on this site when applying, nervous as hell and looking for any and every info on what to expect. Forward me your questions and I will be glad to help alleviate your anxiety. I am also an open book and real, so feel free to ask ANY thing at all on your mind!
  5. Congratulations! See you in May!
  6. Haven't heard either so I contacted Erica. She said my supervisor should be contacting us soon. She also put me in touch with financial aid office which I was wondering about when we get to talk to someone. They seem a little disorganized
  7. List ONLY the 5 prerequisites for VCU nursing that is required on both sections. I got my statistics prerequisite in one school and the rest (psych, anatomy, physiology, microbiology) from another school. List only from the uni u took your prerequisites and leave the other blank.
  8. For those who got in and should already know that tomorrow is our deadline to accept, submit negative and background drug test results and pay $250 deposit. So I'm guessing this info might somehow be useful to those on the waitlist waiting to hear something. Probably after tomorrow passes.
  9. Only the prerequisites
  10. I was! But unfortunately just renewed my downtown apt lease yesterday for another 15months where I am already staying since I didn't get any responses earlier. I would be happy to help with anymore info though in your search if you are new to the area.
  11. I had a 3.77 for my bachelors, 3.9 masters and 3.9 for all pre requisites with 2yrs+ hospital PCT experience. Hope that helps.
  12. Did u get the job? And if so, what is the start off pay for new grads there?
  13. Anyone accepted looking to find a 2 bedroom together to split rent and utilities equally? Let me know. Thanks.
  14. But I see you got admissions to other places like GWU. Congrats to you too!
  15. I got the email just now. I thought they said 15th. I got in!!!!!
