VCC/UCF or SSC/UCF concurrent Fall 2017

Hey All!

I've been searching high and low for any threads for the Valencia/UCF or SeminoleState/UCF concurrent students looking to start in the fall 2017. If any of you are out there, I'd love to hear from you! Maybe to get each other's stats and keep in touch through everything we have to do. Good luck to all in your nursing school endeavors!

QUESTION: On Valencia's concurrent online application, one of the first statements says "Transcripts from these colleges have been evaluated by Valencia" and then right under it it says No transcripts have been evaluated.

I have taken all of my courses at Valencia. Does anyone else see this on their application???? Should it say my transcripts have been evaluated????

Where exactly are you looking? I haven't seen anything that mentions that. But the application was really kind of weird for Valencia, and I have no idea where to look to see the application status. So when i go into the application all it says is that it was received and that I need to wait 8 weeks. I would love to know if there is somewhere else I can be looking haha. Good luck to you! The very first page of the application. right before you choose your payment method. Like the submit button right before you had options to pay.

I submitted my application to Valencia and ucf tonight! I didn't realize you had to pay in person or by mail though so I have to wait until Monday to pay in person.

Does anyone know if the application window closes at midnight on Monday or 11:59 Sunday night? I have to pay Monday and want to make sure that first thing Monday morning the application is still open so I can pay.

I'm pretty sure midnight on the 15th. So as long as you pay that day you'll be fine. I think you could technically pay by mail as long as it's postmarked the 15th. But I wouldn't trust that, def better to just pay in person. Good luck!

Hey! Have any of your application statuses turned green for UCF yet? My prereqs are still pending review so it makes me a little nervous, just checking in to see how everyone else's processes are going. :)

Yes mine turned green a couple of days after I applied but then again I was the first one there in the altamonte campus (not sure if that had anything to do with it)but my teas scores took a while. I had to call them to make sure they had it. Don't get nervous valencias window of app. just closed that's probably why it's still pending review.

As of today I'm eligible !!!!!!! Just praying I don't get waitlisted now lol

Im eligible for SSC! My Valencia app is still yellow under review, SSC seems to move alot quicker. I also received a called from SSC regarding my classes so they are def looking at everything right now! Still not getting my hopes super high with SSC because of that dumb 1 credit class but i really hope they kinda verge from that tier system and look at different things when deciding

I'm eligible for SSC too but still yellow for VC. I'm in the same boat, not getting my hopes up because of that one credit course. I know they will not deviate from their category system but I will not give up hope! I will be upset though if I'm torturing myself in this class for no reason. I feel like it's mostly just busy work but I guess it could be worse. I know VC has a slightly longer program but I'm willing to to take anything I can get.
