Hey All!
I've been searching high and low for any threads for the Valencia/UCF or SeminoleState/UCF concurrent students looking to start in the fall 2017. If any of you are out there, I'd love to hear from you! Maybe to get each other's stats and keep in touch through everything we have to do. Good luck to all in your nursing school endeavors!

i am applying for the fall as well and was wondering if we have to have our immunizations in for UCF prior to starting.. ?
Hey! I'm pretty sure you need to give them at orientation. I've never been a UCF student, so I have to do the transfer student orientation. And from what I understand you give the immunization records at orientation. I know I did at the college I got my 1st degree from, all that was taken care of at orientation. I hope this helps! :)

I'm finishing up my bachelors at UCF. I uploaded all my immunizations to the online portal. You should have access to your own little portal if you've been accepted to UCF.
It'll be under "student self service". Play around in there, there's a lot of cool stuff there.
Oh perfect. Thanks so much!!

I'm also applying for the Fall term! I turned in my application at SSC Monday morning and I can already tell this will be the longest 6 weeks of my life:cry:
Awesome, good luck!! Unfortunately, because I took AP English in highschool, and already have a degree, I didn't realize I needed to send the AP scores to SSC or Valencia í ½í¸±. My grades are archived so it'll take 15 days í ½í¸©. I won't make the SSC deadline but I'm hoping with all hope I make the Valencia deadline. I'm so upset. I didn't think this would be the thing that caused problems! Please let me know how it goes!! Are you planning on applying to VC/UCF as well? Do you mind me asking what your stats are?
Overall GPA: 3.4
Science GPA: 4.0
Nursing prereq GPA: 3.8
TEAS: 87.4%
The best of luck to you! Keep us posted on your answer, I know it's going to be a tough 6 weeks!
Oh wow, I thought that was included on your high school transcript. Atleast you still have time for Valencia!!!!! Hope everything works out! I had no idea you could apply to both SSC and VC, I wish I would've know that í ½í¸ But here are my stats
Overall GPA: 3.6
PreReq GPA: 3.8
Teas: 91.3%
Not very happy with my overall but hopefully it'll do !

I'm the same about my overall. I hope it's enough! You still have time to apply to VC (well maybe, bc you need to apply general admission, but it's relatively quick). The nursing school application window is May 1-15. Let me know if you decide to go that route. Good luck to you!!

Hey guys!
I'll be applying to both VCC and SSC. I dropped off my application today at the Oviedo Campus. I was number 52. Seems like there's probably quite a few applicants this semester. I'm not feeling at ease though just because I'm still taking that 1 credit nutrition course which puts me at the bottom of the barrel for SSC.
My recalculated GPA is a 3.5 and my Teas score is an 84. I wish I would have applied for summer at SCC but was too busy applying to the accelerated BSN program at UCF to realize I could have applied for both and my odds would have been better. I got waitlisted for the other program but the advisor said the person in my position last year was not offered a seat in the class... so, here I am! May the odds be ever in our favor! Lol

Good luck to you!! I can't wait for the VCC/UCF application to open up. I'm getting so anxious, so ready to get the ball rolling!! Keep us updated :)
