I understand that you stand for many hours in one place, day in and day out. This is one of the leading causes of varicose veins. Do most of you OR vets have them?

I don't have them yet..I try to remember to wear supportive hosiery and if I'm scrubbed in on a long surgery, I try to do exercises for my feet and legs. Good shoes also help.

Been working in the OR for one year.
A bunch of vv's that were not there a year ago, are very obvious now.
