Does anyone have any advice on how to make a strong letter of intent for Vanderbilt's Nurse residency program? I know they accept a lot of applicants for each cohort but I'm not sure how many people actually apply and how competetive it actually is. If there is anyone on here that is currently in the program, was previously or knows anyone who has gone through the program, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Good luck to all of you!!!!!!!!! I was selected for an interview as well and I am so excited. SJones RN my GPA is only 3.27 so obviously it looks as if they are not just selecting people that have really high GPAs. It is a combination of GPA, references, letter of intent etc..... Hope that helped. YAY
I got selected for a ped track interview, but I was wondering if we could interview for more then one track (like are second choice). My e-mail title was directed to just peds, so I signed up for that one but didn't know if I was suppose to gives dates for my second choice? Does anyone know anything about that?

I wanted to reply back to SJonesRN. My GPA for my BSN was a 3.0 and my overall GPA is a 3.3 or 3.4. I know talking to Tracey they have what's called a point system and you have to have so many points from you applicantion to get an interview and then the interview is a point system as well and then they meet and discuss who they want. GPA is only one factor...but I'm sure it's not a terminate factor, cause I got selected for an interview.
I hope you get one :)
