Vanderbilt University MSN Fall 2025

Updated:   Published

Hi! I wanted to start a forum for people applying to Vanderbilt's MSN program for a fall 2025 enrollment. Which program are people applying to & how much experience do you guys have?

Thanks for the updates everyone, I submitted an email to Stephen White the admission director and there was an automatic reply stating that responses can take up to 3 days. I guess due to the high volume he put that in place . 🤷🏾‍♂️ I would call the office and ask for an update but it seems as though that wouldn't make a decision come faster LOL I agree with all the above statements, this waiting game is tough.  Good luck to everyone.

I just called and spoke with someone in admissions. She said there isn't a specific date, but it'll be mid-late December (which is right now). She said that their office is open this week and Monday of next week, so hopefully the latest we'll have to wait is next Monday! Good luck everyone!! :)

I have read online that, historically, the undergrad ED1 applicants have gotten an email 24 hours before decisions come out telling them when and how to access...don't know if that will be the same for us though.

An admissions counselor told me we would just get an email saying we have a "status update" on our application and it will then prompt us to log into our portal to see the decision.

Stephen the Admissions's director emailed me back, I have attached a screenshot to this thread.

So we have another week guys!

Glad to have an answer about timing expectations! How many people typically get accepted? I applied for the pediatric primary care NP Program.

I saw on Instagram that it looks like the undergrads are getting their acceptances

Since decisions in the past years have come out on a Friday I have a strong feeling we will hear this Friday

Hi! I applied to the WHGRNP program and have 1.5 yr experience inpatient L/D and PP and 1 yr experience outpatient OBGYN clinic. Hoping to hear soon!!

Guys!! I'm shaking. I applied to the PMHNP program and received my unofficial acceptance today. A member of the admissions team called to confirm whether I had chosen MTA or OMTA. After I confirmed that I selected OMTA, they informed me that my official acceptance letter will be sent out either this Friday or Monday! Good luck to all of you!!
