Starting a thread for Vanderbilt's Master of Nursing (MN) Prespecialty program for Fall 2025! I applied for MN Prespecialty - CNM track. Hoping we hear back in the next few days...

Does anyone have any info as to when decisions will be sent out?

I've heard "second half of December" and "late December" from the admissions team. In another thread I saw someone said Dec 15th but that seems odd since today is a Sunday. However last year they heard around the 15th too, so fingers crossed it's in the next couple of days!!

Someone in another thread emailed an admissions person and they said they're anticipating December 20-31.... ugh!

My name is Uriah! I was just accepted into the Fall 2025 MN Pre-specialty program (Pediatric Primary Care)! I can't wait to connect with all of you! I pray everyone got the answer they desired!

I was accepted to the MN prespecialty FNP program. I would love to connect with everyone before starting in the fall!

I was accepted for MN + PNC (nurse midwifery)! So thrilled! I'm still waiting to hear back from two more programs but this is definitely a great option. 
For anyone else whose decision letter says they received scholarship funds, do you know if the amount included is annually or for the full length of the program? For example I got $15K but I'm unclear if that's $15K per year or total.

Unfortuately that's the total scholarship that they may split across a particular number of semesters. Very expensive program 😕

Is anyone else planning to put down the deposit to hold their spot? Vanderbilt's Jan 20 decision deadline is sooo early and I'm still waiting to hear back from Penn and OHSU which won't be until late Jan. I would love to be able to visit before deciding too but they aren't hosting an admitted students day until April apparently (which I feel like defeats the purpose...). I heard from friends who are in the program now that many of them put down the deposit to hold their spot before they decided 100% so I'm wondering how common that is.

I'm thinking of doing this, unfortunately. I'm also waiting to hear back from Penn and am visiting another school.
