Vanderbilt University CRNA Program - April 2026 start

Published

Hello everyone!

As I'm sure everyone knows, Vanderbilt is projected to open applications in August for the new DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program. I wanted to start this discussion thread for those thinking about applying, so we can discuss updates or any advice for first time CRNA school applicants such as myself. Best of luck to you all!

Kinda nerve wracking just to keep waiting LOL

Does any of you know what the interview process is like? What format are they going to be using?

Unfortunately not because we would be the first ever cohort so it's hard to tell.

I don't know but I did meet the Director recently and he mentioned how important it is to know your meds, MOA, etc so it sounds like it would be at least some, if not all, clinical. He was also the director at Pitt so I'd guess it would be similar to whatever their interviews were like in past cohorts

Interviews are going to be virtual based on the Q&A in September

Do you know what interview process/questions are like at Pitt CRNA interviews?

I've not gotten an interview request or a rejection letter. Did anyone actually get an interview request yet?
