Hey everyone! Just thought I would create a page for us to chat about the upcoming application process and everything that follows! I graduate in May 2020 and am hoping to apply for the CVICU or the adult ED.

I also was just extended an offer for the cardiac step down track! I am from Boston & will be new to the area!

What part of Iowa are you from? I am also from Iowa. I’ve been in TN for 5 years but I use to live in the quad cities (Davenport)

I received a call and email offering me the position in NICU!! Is anyone else on here who will also be in NICU or L&D? CONGRATS to everyone who received offers as well!

I am from the Cedar Rapids area! Do you love living in Tennessee? I have been there many times, and I have loved it, but I understand living there can be a lot different so I am super nervous! Congratulations on getting a NICU position :)

Thank you!! Okay yeah I’ve been to Cedar Rapids a few times it’s only about an hour away from Davenport. & yes girl I love it here. & the weather is sooo much better! No snow or below freezing weather to deal with!! There’s so many things here to do. I think you’ll really enjoy it. When will you be moving here?

Oh, thank goodness! One of the biggest reasons I am leaving is because of the Winter weather...it's miserable! I will be moving sometime in July. I start July 20th, so hopefully I can move down in the beginning of July to get settled in and explore a little bit!

Hey, just accepted an offer for the behavioral health track. Just wanted to say howdy to everyone. From Texas and will be moving to Nashville during the early part of July. Couple of others have asked the same thing, but any advice on where to live?
