I'm not...I really think that this statement is made without the least bit of true research or regard. If you look at job boards, you'll see that there are many jobs posted for NPs. Now in your particular area, especially if you reside in a larger city, with many MSN/DNP/NP programs this could be true. There could be fewer available jobs and more competition for the jobs. However, if you are willing to look out and relocate, I doubt that you will have a hard time finding a job. You may not get your ideal job right off the bat with no experience but you could always take something less ideal to build experience for a couple of years or work as an RN until you find what you're looking for. Be flexible and keep an open mind.

Does anyone have any idea when emails might be send out during the third week? Also, I’m getting increasingly nervous about getting rejected, anyone know any admission statistics for the program?
I called them this morning and they said sometime in the next week- no specifics.

I’m not really sure since I couldn’t really find any admission statistics on line. This is the only thing I found from someone from an older thread who posted this and said they got it on an admitted students day or something
