Hi guys!

I have not seen a thread for the Vanderbilt Nurse Residency program for Winter 2021 and thought I'd make one! I am currently in the process of applying. I am on my first part of my application. I would love to hear whose applying, what unit they are applying to and your experience so far!

Has anyone heard back from adult oncology yet? Just curious ?

I got a Peds PACU offer last week and turned in my acceptance letter today. But I’m sure there weren’t as many people that were chosen for the PACU as there is the PICU but don’t quote me on that

Well I am suspecting the worst since I have yet to hear anything and y’all got your offers yesterday, but congratulations to everyone, y’all should be so proud :)

I’m sure you’ll get it! Your stats and prior experience looked fantastic! You applied for PICU, right? I’m sure they’re just waiting until Friday. I haven’t heard of any other Peds being announced and I know others that aren’t on this forum that applied and interviewed and haven’t heard anything back either. Keep your head up!

Waitlist ? I was hoping this wouldn’t happen since I have a big ER interview tomorrow and now my head is scrambled for waiting almost a month long for no offer... by the time an offer is extended from the waitlist  I probably would have already had to take an offer somewhere else.. ? LOL eh but congrats again to everybody, I’m recommended for hire and hoping that if they do extend an offer that it’ll still be in PEDS

And for those of you reading this in the future, -------------------- stated that offers will continue to be made both on your track and not until January, and that they are unable to disclose your rank in the waitlist

I was also waitlisted! Did she say if she was able to disclose how many people are on the waitlist?

Don't let it get to you, girl! What is meant to be will be. You should be proud that you are still within striking distance to ! Let it be the motivation to crush it tomorrow, you've got this ?

LOL thanks girl! I actually was just thinking about that while practicing my interview that this would be my motivation to crush it. ?
