Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Summer 2021

Hi guys! Vanderbilt's nurse residency program for Summer 2021 opened up yesterday. I'm starting this thread so we can all keep up with the process together! Who is applying?

Yes I got that too just now! Ugh I was hoping we would hear earlier and be able to schedule interviews around the end of the month. I’ve been getting offers other places already and I hate to have them wait... ?

Hey guys!

Just checking- has anyone heard from the women's health track about interviews?

Hearing people got interviews in NICU and Peds makes me nervous.

I just got an email about an hour ago saying I’ll hear by March 22nd. I applied Womens health but the email did not say anything about womens health specifically.

I know it makes me nervous as well! But, at least it didn't say no...so there is still hope for us!!

I got the email about hearing back within the week and I go to school in the Nashville area.

I got the March 22 email as well and it sounds like they might be behind on reviewing applications. I was looking at the Summer 2020 cohort thread and it sounded like they were sending out requests for interviews at the same time they were sending out notifications about being waitlisted and that different departments were holding interviews in different timelines. I saw that NICU interview emails for Summer 2020 were sent out at a later date than other departments and I think it has to do with the volume of applicants. This is all just a guess but I think this means we are all still in the running.
