Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Summer 2016

Hello! I was wondering if anyone was thinking about applying for Vanderbilt's nurse residency program for summer 2016. For those who have applied to other terms or gone through the residency: any advice?!

Yes! I felt so good after the interview and as time goes by I just keep questioning everything... Fingers crossed we here soon!

I know, I feel the same! Looking back at past cohort threads, people for this year's winter group started finding out between the 12th and the 14th of November before their Dec. 1 date...crazy to think it could be as soon as this week, or as late as another two weeks! The anticipation is eating me slowly haha.

Yeah. I got it too. Hoping soon. I took my last final yesterday and now I just wait.....and wait!

Yep, same!! At first I thought I missed an email with decisions, but I guess they just decided to send out licensure information before they tell us who's in??

I know, it's so hard! I'm just hoping maybe this means they're getting closer to sending out the decisions. I'd LOVE to not have to wait another 2 weeks!

I am sorry to hear that! Just remember that not getting a job at one facility doesn't mean you won't have incredible opportunities elsewhere. Also, where you start your career does not dictate your worth or the influence you will have on your patients throughout the years to come! Keep your head up!!

Does anyone know anybody else who interviewed who isn't in this forum? Curious how they're doing decisions...I only know one other person who interviewed and they haven't heard anything yet either!
