Vanderbilt MSN 2019

Published

Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

I’ve called twice now - went to voicemail twice. Once to Cheryl and once to Bernie. Didn’t leave a VM, just want a human. Lol!

I called the main line for Nursing Admissions. The lady didn’t say her name.

Maybe the coordinator is the real deal and the people from nursing admissions were told to give the general “end of the month” answer? All we can do is wait & pray.

I will. It’s noon CST so I will call back after their lunch hour is over!

I called yesterday and was hung up on. So........ not feeling it.

I would be pretty aggravated.

Woooooow. Hopefully you were accidentally disconnected because that would be pretty shockingly rude and not at all a good sign.

I was not disconnected, she clearly didn't want to explain the admission decision process to me. Unprofessional.

I think we all need to remember that they’re getting non-stop calls about a question that’s already been answered. Not that it’s right if she did hang up, but I’m sure that admissions group is flustered (with good reason).

At this point, we have to believe that it’ll be Feb 28 unless otherwise informed. Otherwise it’s just repeated let-down and frustration. There’s nothing anyone here can do to expedite the process.

agreed - as aggravated and stressed as we are I bet they are feeling the pressure as well. I told myself to stop checking all nurses and just put the 28th in my head...it IS only 6 days away at this point ?

Really unprofessional to be hung up on, and given different answers for a 67k program.

at this point my number 2 looks like a good option.

I know we’re all a little frustrated, but don’t get discouraged!! We will hopefully get a decision soon enough ?
