BlueJays2013, I would definitely rearrange your schedule for it. Even without interruptions, you might feel rushed what with it being during the lunch hour. Not that you will be! But just to be safe.

I called earlier this week as I haven't received an interview yet and was told that decisions go out mid-February, and for PMHNP, the interview is required, but that interviews are still being conducted (though that doesn't mean that they're still being offered). Anyway, trying to keep it together these next few weeks and hope I get into one of the programs I applied to!

Hello Psych4644,

I know last year I received an email - interview invite on 2/15 and my interview took place on 2/21. So while I think majority people received final decisions the day before on 2/14 some where still being offered interviews. I don’t know if this will be the case this year but thought I would mention it.

LCSWtoPMHNP, that gives me hope! I appreciate you sharing!

Hey!

so the 20 minute phone interview we have isn't a preliminary interview... it's the ONLY interview?

I was going to do it during my lunch break but now I'm thinking I should rearrange my work week schedule for it.

what should I do? I don't want to ruin my chances!

I would definitely plan to take 1.5 hr off work. My interview lasted around 35 minutes. You don't want to feel rushed or stressed!!

How was your interview, Tmalaska?

Hey there, I would just to be sure! I’ve seen where some people’s interviews took longer. Mine was only 15-16 minutes!

My interview today was only about 15 minutes as well. Asked when i would hear back and she said I’m assuming you’re asking because you applied to other programs and i said no, Vanderbilt is my first and only choice. She said mid February at the latest. I’m dying to know guys.

I completely understand! I’ve been trying to distract myself since Tuesday... it’s not working. It’s going to be a long month for sure.

Yes that’s for sure. And i need as much time as possible to plan for how much my life is going to change if i do get into the program.

Has anyone else applied past the priority deadline? I applied for the Pediatric Primary Care NP in December....not sure if/when I would hear anything so I figured I would see if anyone else is in the same boat.

I interviewed for Pre-Specialty PMHNP. The interview was approximately 15 minutes. is my #1 program, the wait is already killing me.

Am i the only one who refreshes this page like forty times a day ??
