Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2018. Anyone else applying too? Please comment!

You guys. I made my husband call *covers eyes*. They told him they will be releasing decisions every day this week beginning tonight or tomorrow and not to be concerned until after Friday if he hasn't heard anything. I'm freaking out! Good luck, all!

So, in my head I get out of work in 15 min......there should be a verdict in 15 min lol. I realize in the rational part of my brain this will not happen. But one can hope lol.

I feel fortunate to be on the West coast. I get 3 hours of waiting free :)

I must could my blessings! lol. So nervous.

Ok ok I'll stop whining. I guess there's potential we wont know until Friday? So I shouldn't be so on edge.

EDIT: Ok can we talk about the fact that e-mail updates on new posts for this thread are "Update: Vanderbilt MSN 2018"? I get a little anxious when I get an email with Vanderbilt in the title.... :woot:

EDIT #2: I'm at work and so stressed about all this admission stuff that I had to take my Klonopin. lol. Anyone else here have anxiety issues? ^_^

I actually keep two different emails for this reason... I created my allnurses with a different email address that I don't get notifications for :) Wonder if you can change it retroactively.

Haha great idea.

Let's rename the thread to "it'll all be ok :)". All in favor? :p

EDIT (to avoid double post): guys... I just looked at the source code for the application portal to see if there were any stylistic elements that were hidden that would give a clue as to the admission decision... So yeah...that's where I'm at in life lool. A software engineer changing fields completely...

(also, I didn't find anything! :arghh: )

Yeah if I use my better judgement, I think it's really likely it wont be today for me either.

EDIT: who wants to call admissions and get another status update? Haha :geek:

Anyone know how it's going to appear in the portal? Like are we going to all get a generic email stating it's been updated and then will a letter appear or just plain 'accepted or denied' show up in the portal?

Typically it's a new section that appears on the portal with a link to the decision letter.

I called this morning and they said they'd begin rolling out admissions decisions starting tomorrow. My jump to thinking it could be today was from a former post that said they said it could be today. #WhoKnows

Do you guys think that since it's after 6pm, no one's gonna be working so decisions wont go out?

I know one poster said they could come out tonight, and I'd love that, but I don't really know if they have a timed release or if it's manual or what.

My guess is some will start to come out tomorrow after 5pm CST.
