Valencia Fall 2019

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello everyone! I can’t seem to find a thread for FALL 2019 for Valencia college. So I decided to make one and see when others have put their applications in and all that good stuff.

My friend applied with a 2.9 and she got denied. I’m not sure exactly if they will allow anything below a 3.0. BUT I know that as long as your TEAs score is in the 80s, Seminole will accept you even if you have a Lowery GPA

Unfortunately, that is not the case with Seminole right now. I was denied with a 3.49 prereq GPA and a TEAS in the high 80s.

I didn't get in with a 3.3 overall, 3.4 prereq and 86.7

Though to be fair, I just came across a Youtuber who go into Seminole Concurrent in 2015 that first time she applied with C's in AP 1 & 2 and a 79 on her TEAS.....so Your Miles Mary Vary I guess. Some years are really not that competitive I guess.

The Nurse Nook? I thought she retook those.

Did she? I just regreat not applying back in 2015 because I was told I was a long shot by advising with Bs in AP 1 & 2 and a 3.2 overall and 3.4 pre req. I ended up waiting years thinking I needed to take a month off to prepare for TEAS since I thought I needed a 96 or something to even have a chance of getting in.

Anybody in concurrent hit me up.

Hey guys! I know some people mentioned about the dosage book from the bookstore. But west campus is kind of out of the way for me and I can't really find it on the website (esp since majority of the books have "no image available" for their listings). I tried searching the name "Dimensional Analysis" and the result came up for a unrelated non-nursing/medical text.

So if anyone happens to have a picture of the book or a link, could you please share! Thanks!

I need help. How do I order my fingerprint through the “Daon trusted Identity service.” I tried accessing that site and I was asked for an “ORI” number. Anyone available to help?

I have no idea what the ORI number is to be used. Am not sure if am doing the right thing.
