I wanted to start a thread for anyone who’s applying for the traditional nursing program at Valencia for the summer :)! That way we can give one another updates, or anyone with helpful tips who ALREADY got admitted for spring!

I just got the email last night at like 5pm I think they send them at random times to people individually

because I go to west campus. I'm also an officer for the VNSA, and she's one of the head people that watches over it, so we work closely with her. I'm not saying she can't rotate between osceola AND west, but she is predominantly at West. Osceola has their own set of professors, and she was never at that campus for the past 2 semesters, unless someone quit or got fired, of course.

That’s so weird cause her schedule is the exact same for Osceola and West ?

Kinda bummed the orientation didn’t happen today and anxiously waiting more information about the orientation/nursing program. I’ve been jobless for two weeks now and looking for another job since it looks like my jobs not opening again till April 30th. Dying of boredom at home LOL and taking this extra time at home to study dosage calculations. What about you?

Disney and Universal are both closed so I have no money haha Most of my gigs got canceled too. The struggle of being a performer in an epidemic. I feel for y’all since everything is up in the air right now. Hopefully they’ll be in contact with you all soon regarding the Summer semester! Maybe it’ll just be a late start and then end closer to Fall semester.

I work at Nemours Children’s Hospital and it’s been interesting seeing them prepare for the virus. The nurses are not taking the correct precautions with the rooms that are being tested for corona. ? I bring the food to the children breakfast lunch and dinner and they have rooms that are being tested for the virus and we still have to go and bring the food to the rooms instead of the nurses that have the correct PPE. So we are only allowed one mask a day and have to use it all day which it obviously is being contaminated so basically is self sabotage. LOL
