I got an email today saying the orientation would be pushed back ?. As far as I know classes will be online for the remainder of the semester ?

The email stated that orientation would be announced on a later date & to just keep cheating emails.

Did they ever formally email everyone who was previously accepted stating that they were going to cancel orientation?

I have never received an email and I was accepted on the first round. I have also tried calling and emailing. Anyone else? I understand they all went home when they had to but there has to be someone working remotely. Keeping us informed is important to all of us.

Congratulations on your acceptance by the way. In your e-mail was there any indication that Summer school would commence as scheduled? With everything going on it makes you wonder. Again, some communication from the school is necessary here.

I never got any email about anything I feel like the program is kind of up in the air right now depending on what the future holds for us. I’m thinking Summer semester may even be pushed back to fall if this continues to get worst. I really don’t see how they can push back Summer semester to start a little late when it’s already such a rushed semester. kind of hoping it gets pushed back to fall so we have more time to get everything ready for the semester. With everything going on I feel so unprepared and rushed to get things together for the program when we literally haven’t been updated on it at all. ?

Agreed. We need to feel prepared to start but professors need to be prepared to teach and not just rushed. Hoping all will just work out for all of us. Stay safe and well

UCF just announced that they will be having Summer A, C & D online as well so I think Valencia will follow.. but I dont know how that will work for a nursing program.

It's possible they will continue clinicals because Seminole nursing students are still going to theirs. However, the instruction may be online? Not really sure!
