Valencia College Gen Bio

Published

Hi everyone

I 'm supposed to get Campbell biology (costume edition for Valencia College) which comes with the mastering code. I was wondering if I necessarily have to buy it from the campus bookstore? Is it possible to get the book from Craigslist for a lower price, and then buy the mastering code separately online?

You can do both. Also, check out what the price is for the new book with the mastering code on ebay, or amazon. I bet it will still be less expensive than it is in your college bookstore, or any college bookstore across the nation. College bookstores are notorious for charging higher prices.

Thank you

is the mastering code supposed to be costume edition like the book?

Sorry if my question seems silly

I'm new to college

I took Gen Bio from Seminole State College. I had to buy the Campbell Biology custom edition for SSC. I'm assuming you are not planning to take Gen Bio 2? SSC said the custom edition is for students who only plan on taking Gen Bio 1. It is cheaper than the regular Gen Bio book (which is also used for Gen Bio 2), and it doesn't make sense to buy it used because buying the code by itself is more expensive than buying the new custom edition book for one semester which includes the code.
