VA Palo Alto New Grad 2013 Fall Program

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this board, but also a new graduate RN who recently applied for this New Grad 2013 fall Program. Did anyone else apply?

I'm going to apply today. This is my first time applying to the VA. I've got a few questions. Do they start looking at applications as they come? Or do they wait til after the closing date to look at all of them? Did you indicate your preferred areas in your cover letter? Thank you!

I applied! When i spoke to the recruiter early last week, he said they already had over 850 applications and were trying to look through as they came. there's a section on the application where you can choose your top 2 preferred areas!

alright, silly question...did you all print out, sign in ink, then scan and upload the two required forms (OF-306 and 10-2850a)?

@ersbears: Yes. Just wondering... Is it also necessary to sign the cover letter, scan, and upload it as well?

@Javelina I just signed in paint then copied that on my cv

I am sure it will take at least 1.5 weeks for them to review that amount of applicants. Best of luck everyone. Stay patient and stay positive :)

Hi everyone, I applied for the same too!! I tried contacting the HR and left a voicemail!! No response yet!! Please keep us updated!! Status still says application received!!
